About Scarlett Rose Maine Coons

We are a small home cattery located in rural Greenville, Virginia. Our journey to owning Maine Coons of our own began when our cat-loving daughter, Rosie, turned seven. As a special birthday treat, my husband and I took our four children down to Roanoke, VA, for our first ever cat show. All four of our children enjoyed viewing and interacting with the many cat breeds, but an enormous tri-colored male Maine Coon melted us with awe. His calm demeanor, stunning coat and majestic features inspired a Maine Coon obsession which has lasted to this day. Our daughters Rosie and Scarlett dreamed of owning their first breeding pair from that day in Roanoke and immediately started saving money for this goal with their own shared piggy bank in which they faithfully stored their birthday money for years.

After years of dreaming, we finally had the opportunity to acquire two female Maine Coons. We imported Freya and Tilly from a reputable breeder of European bloodlines in Russia and launched our cat breeding adventure.

 

Our goal is to breed and sell healthy, well-adjusted Maine Coon kittens with the dramatic European look, as well as the quintessential temperament every Maine Coon lover knows so well—playful, affectionate, curious and social. Our cattery is registered with TICA, and we have a wonderful mentor in our friend Jennifer from FarmHaus Maine Coons. We do genetic testing through Wisdom Panel to ensure the healthiest possible genetics in our kittens.

Scarlett Rose Maine Coons is located in Greenville, Virginia, a small rural town in Augusta County located between the cities of Staunton, Waynesboro, and Lexington, and about 45 minutes from Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, Virginia.
