Adoption Process

What to expect when you're expecting a kitten!

  1. When our kittens are eight weeks old, they will be evaluated, priced, and made available for reservation.

  2. Pricing is based on the kitten's gender and paw type. Male kittens are $3,500 and female kittens are $3,000. Polydactyl traits can increase the price.

  3. Submit a kitten application and get approved to bring home a Scarlett Rose Maine Coon kitten!

  4. If your application is approved, you will receive an email from scarlettrosemainecoons@gmail.com explaining the next part of the process.​

  5. Your reservation will be complete with a signed contract and a $500 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to the price of the kitten.

  6. Kittens will be ready for their new home at 12 weeks old, and the remaining balance for the price of the kitten is due three days before pickup.  If your kitten is being delivered, the remaining balance is due before the kitten leaves Scarlett Rose Maine Coons.

  7. Note: Unfortunately, since we operate our cattery out of our home, and to protect our cats' health, we run a closed cattery and are not able to offer home visits.
